PATRICIA’S MASTECTOMY SURGERY: We are delighted to share that Ms. Patricia’s mastectomy surgery was successful, and she has been discharged from the hospital. She is scheduled for a follow-up review in two weeks. Here’s a breakdown of the expenses: Total Raised: 10,310 cedis Expenses: Admission items, surgery and miscellaneous: 5,331 cedis Upkeep for Ms. Patricia at home: 1,000 cedis Total Expenses: 6,331 cedis Remaining Funds: 3,979 cedis We have receipts available, please zoom in to read the specifics. Update on Ms. Patricia’s Mastectomy Surgery: Ms Update on Ms. Patricia’s Mastectomy Surgery: Ms. Patricia was admitted last night at the Eastern Regional Hospital, Koforidua and is currently awaiting a blood transfusion. Once that is done, she will proceed with the surgery. We can’t confirm the exact timeline for the entire process yet but we’ll keep everyone updated on her progress. We remain hopeful and continue to pray for her recovery. So far, we have raised 10,310 cedis. We made payments totaling 710 cedis for admission items, transportation and food yesterday. On February 15, in partnership with Pageline Conce On February 15, in partnership with Pageline Concepts, an advertising agency, we provided 100 bags of charcoal to 50 elderly women to help them sustain their small businesses and daily needs. Some were able to meet us at the venue but for those who couldn’t make it, we went to their homes to deliver the charcoal. For many of these women, this isn’t just charcoal, it’s a chance to earn a little and to feel seen and cared for. It is a small step but one that can make a big difference in their lives. This February, Awisi Foundation is focusing on eld This February, Awisi Foundation is focusing on elderly women in rural communities. Recently, a group of elderly women approached us with a request. They needed support for their charcoal business. Selling charcoal is a practical option for them as it requires minimal movement and is commonly purchased directly from households within the community. We listened, and now we are taking action. On February 15, in partnership with @pageline_concepts an advertising agency, we will provide 100 bags of charcoal to 50 elderly women, giving each of them two bags to help with their small businesses. It is a small step but one that can make a big difference in their lives. I met Sika last September during our ‘Back to Sc I met Sika last September during our ‘Back to School’ Book Donation. She wore slippers to school that day. I met her again during ‘A Sandal More’ project by Access Bank at the local schools. Unfortunately, we didn’t have her size among the sandals we brought so I bought her a new pair from a nearby store.
